Lightning Blackjack

Play Lightning Blackjack for a chance to win multipliers of up to 100x!

    Lightning Blackjack Game Overview

This game follows the standard rules of Blackjack but also offers Lightning multipliers for the chance of higher payouts!

    Card Values

Lightning Blackjack uses eight standard decks of 52 cards.

    • Cards numbered 2-10 are worth their face value
    • Face cards are worth ten
    • Aces are worth one or 11, depending on which is better for the hand

At the end of the betting period, each player will be dealt one card face-up.

When the dealer has received their initial card, each player will receive a second card that is also face-up.

The dealer's second card will be face-down.

    Achieving Blackjack

You have Blackjack if your initial hand equals 21.

    Lightning Fee

A 100% Lightning fee is taken from each initial bet placed in this game.

    The Lightning fee is mandatory.

This fee is not value for Double Down and Split hands.

    Lightning Multipliers

Lightning multipliers are awarded when you win a round with '17 and below' or above.

Lightning multipliers are applied to your next hand.

The value of the multiplier is randomly generated but will be 2x-25x.

The multiplier will be held for your next game if you leave the current game before using it.

Note: multipliers will expire if they are not used within 180 days.

Lightning multipliers are only applied to the value of the Lightning fee placed - if your current wager exceeds the Lightning fee value then a regular Blackjack payout will apply to the additional amount.

The multiplier will apply to the higher value hand if you have a pair of Split hands.

Lightning multipliers and your Lightning fee are both lost if you lose in a push or Insurance.

    Insurance Bet

In the event of the dealer's up-card being an Ace, you can place an Insurance bet that will pay if the dealer has Blackjack.

The Insurance bet is worth one half of your initial Blackjack bet.

You will receive a payout worth twice your Insurance bet if the dealer has Blackjack.

If the dealer does not have Blackjack, then the Insurance bet will be lost.

Your Insurance bet will be refunded if the game ends in a push.

    Decisions

You will have four options to pick from after you receive your first two cards: Hit, Stand, Double Down and Split.

You can only pick an option if you do not have Blackjack.

If you do not pick an option before the end of the time period, then your hand will automatically Hit if it equals 11 or less.

If the time expires before you have picked an option and your hand equals 12 or more, then you will automatically Stand.

    Hit & Stand

Selecting Hit will add extra cards to your hand.

If you choose Stand, then your current hand will remain the same.

    Double Down

Double Down will add one more card to your hand and double your wager.

    Split

You can choose to Split a hand that is formed of two equal cards.

The hand will split into two separate hands with individual wagers.

You can only split a hand once.

Only one extra card will be added to each hand if you decide to Split a pair of Aces.

    Dealer Reveal

Once all players have made their choices, the dealer will show their face-down card.

The dealer must Hit on a hand of 16 or less.

If they have a hand of soft 17 or more, then they must Stand.

    Game Outcome

The aim of Lightning Blackjack is to have a higher value hand than the dealer, without going over 21!

You will win if the dealer goes bust.

If you go over 21, then your hand will go bust and you will lose.

Achieving Blackjack will trump a Split hand worth 21.

A push will be declared if your hand equals the same as the dealer's hand - when this happens, your bet will be returned.

    Return to Player

The optimal theoretical payout percentage is 99.56% (based on the first hand in the shoe).
